University Planning Council Meets

The University Planning Council is made up of university deans, vice presidents, students and the provost who represent committees such as Strategic Resources Allocation and Advisory Committee, Strategic Planning Steering Committee, the Faculty Senate, the Staff Senate and the Student Government Association.
Members and their departments of the UPC include James Cofer, ULM President; Ron Berry, dean of the College of Business Administration; Wayne Brumfield, Vice President of Student Affairs; Jeffrey Cass, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; Ken Clow, marketing professor; Jose Cordova, program coordinator for computer science and computer information systems; Camille Currier, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs; Susan Duggins, Executive Director of Enrollment Management; Tasha Fisher, Compliance Services; Anne Case Hanks, assitant professor of geosciences; Anna Hill, associate professor of biology; Greg Leader, dean of the College of Pharmacy; Sandra Lemoine, dean of the College of Education and Human Development; Hannah Livingston, president of the Student Government Association; William McCown, psychology professor; Sharon Meyer, associate professor of toxicology; Dave Nicklas, Vice President of Business Affairs; Eric Pani, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs; Gail Parker, budget officer; Michael Parker, head of the Department of Finance; Donna Rhorer, associate professor of English; Steven Richters, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs; Chris Ringo, assistant director of the Physical Plant; Denny Ryman, dean of the College of Health and Sciences; Serpil Saydam, head of the Department of Math and Physics; Cori Scoggins, Financial Aid; Brook Sebren, student; Don Skelton, Vice President for University Advancement and External Affairs; Lon Smith, associate professor of computer science and computer information systems; Turner Steckline, associate professor of communication; Kevin Unter, head of the Department of Gerontology, Sociology, and Political Science; Bruce Walker, head of the Department of Management and Aviation; and Stan Williamson, professor of management and aviation.
This Council incorporates each of the members' ideas in the decision-making process.
