These are all hangover remedies for rock's newest addition The Terms.
Their lyrics and unique sound will leave you thirsting for more.
The band has been together since September of 2003 when all five members were attending Louisiana State University.
Their musical bond took form when lead singer and songwriter Ben Labat met lead guitarist Clyde Hargrove and percussionist Blake Oliver.
The acoustic trio quickly gained popularity while performing at local Baton Rouge bars.
With the addition of fellow students, drummer Scott Lasseigne and bassist Greg Chiartano, The Terms took flight.
'We started playing every chance we got, and we just clicked,' said Lasseigne, a Shreveport native.
The group credits artists like George Clinton, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stone Temple Pilots and the Beatles for inspiring and influencing them.
Punk, rock and funk are reflected in the band's lyrics and music.
'We have a ton of influences,' said Oliver, who grew up in Monroe. 'There are just so many artists and bands that have been great influences to us.'
The Terms, who were originally called The Sidewalks, were forced to change their name due to copyright laws.
'When we found out we couldn't use the name, we started generating as many words as possible,' Raceland native Labat said. 'We went through about 500 terms looking for something short and sweet. 'The Terms' was just that.'
After developing their new identity, the band could finally look forward to their debut album 'Small Town Computer Crash,' set to be released everywhere April 25.
Lasseigne says that while the group is excited about the record's release, there is always pressure.
'There's always pressure when you wonder if people will like it or buy it,' Lasseigne said. 'We want to sell records to keep doing what we do. We want to keep making music.'
