The Campus Activity Board will be supplying hamburgers and Cokes at the tailgate party this Saturday before the football game. Music will be provided by 100.1 The Beat.
"I'm very excited about CAB this year," said Shuntay Wilson, a junior from Haughton, La. "Our membership has increased to 40 members."
Seeking Alliances Through Leadership and Diversity (S.A.L.A.D.) will be held this Saturday in the SUB Auditorium from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Students interested can register by emailing jajones@ulm.edu or calling 342-5287.
The CAB's fall sponsored concert will feature Bill Cosby.
"We really want to promote Bill Cosby and get the students and community to come see him," Wilson said. "He will be doing comedy for about two hours on November 9."
The CAB is planning an event for this weekend. No details were given but it will be announced by Friday.
"We are planning upcoming events for homecoming and also a Las Vegas Night in the future," Wilson said.
The CAB will also by using their own funds to build a homecoming float for the game on Oct. 16.
