The University of Louisiana at Monroe women's basketball team sent off three of its seniors as victors, as the ULM Warhawks defeated the North Texas Mean Green, 63-58, at Fant-Ewing Coliseum on Feb. 27. The ULM softball team fell short in extra innings to the McNeese State Cowgirls, 2-1, in a closely fought battle on Feb. 24. After starting strong at 3-0 in the Mardi Gras Classic, ULM (3-7) lost its seventh straight game when the team failed to score a run after McNeese's (7-6) Dani Price hit a sacrifice fly ball to drive in a run in the eighth inning.… Post the First Comment
